Based out of California, Dr. Nancy Hamler joined Rocky Mountain University in the summer 2019. She started out her PA career in Family Medicine, and is currently working in a busy community Emergency Department. Dr. Hamler graduated with a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) from the University of Lynchburg in 2018, and has been on faculty for a MPA as well as a Nutrition & Dietetics program in California. The latter follows her passion for food, and allows her a continued involvement in nutrition sciences/promotion/legislation, since she started her healthcare path as a Dietitian. As a German born/raised, Dr. Hamler has a deep appreciation for the benefits of universal healthcare. Dr. Hamler aspires to prepare future PA leaders to change the landscape of our current healthcare policies/regulations. In her free time, she enjoys her family and furry babies, and loves to travel the world (to indulge in different cuisines).
