DPT Graduates Receive Awards of Excellence

The Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program celebrated another exceptional cohort of 55 students and their supportive faculty during an awards ceremony December 6. The evening was filled with inspiring messages from RMUoHP President Dr. Richard P. Nielsen and DPT 7 Class President Charelle Minor.

The symbolism of the awards ceremony for the DPT program is explained by RMUoHP’s DPT program director, Dr. Wes McWhorter, “This awards ceremony gives us the opportunity to recognize individuals, students, clinical instructors, and faculty who have exceeded in their areas of responsibility. By awarding these individuals, the department acknowledges excellence in students and faculty/staff. This ties into the motto of the university, ‘advancing knowledge, advancing healthcare.’”
