Long COVID Physio International Forum to be held Virtually September 9-10

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) is pleased to partner with Long COVID Physio and FisioCamera to host the Long COVID Physio International Forum on September 9 and 10, 2022. The two-day virtual forum will present and discuss Long COVID, disability, and rehabilitation.

Keynote speakers for the event include Dr. Emma Stokes, Associate Professor of Physiotherapy, President World Physiotherapy, and Vice President for Global Engagement at Trinity College in Dublin, and Dr. David Putrino, Director of Rehabilitation Innovation for the Mount Sinai Health System and Associate Professor of Rehabilitation and Human Performance at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Under the mission of “Bringing The Lived Experience to Long COVID, Disability and Rehabilitation,” the Long COVID Physio International Forum will benefit health and social care professionals, people living with or affected by Long COVID or other conditions, academics, service providers, policymakers, students of allied health and rehabilitation professions, and anyone wanting to learn more about the realities of Long COVID. 

Malissa Martin, EdD, ATC, Vice Provost of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Health Science and Continuous Learning at RMUoHP explained, “This is an inaugural international event for Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, and we are so pleased we can host such a most timely event that will have lasting impacts to all who attend.”
