140 students to receive master’s and doctorate degrees in healthcare specialties
Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) will conduct commencement exercises Saturday for the 2018 Class of 140 healthcare master’s and doctorate students. Dr. Gregory D. Myer, RMUoHP alumnus and director of research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, will provide the commencement address. He is a recognized leader in the field of injury prevention and human performance neuroscience.

“We estimate Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions graduates currently treat tens-of-thousands of patients throughout the country every day,” said Dr. Richard P. Nielsen, founding president of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. “The quality of care these patients receive is evidence of the quality of education our graduates experience.”
Commencement speaker Gregory D. Myer, PhD, FACSM, CSCS*D received the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions Outstanding Alumnus Award. He is the Director of Research and the Human Performance Laboratory for the Division of Sports Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He maintains primary faculty appointment in the departments of Pediatrics and Orthopedic Surgery in the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. He has published over 300 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has published books and several book chapters related to his research.

- Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Doctor of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology (Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology)

- Doctor of Philosophy
