Tim Stockdale has served as a speech-language pathologist in hospital, university, and private practice settings. He worked in acute care from 2014 – 2018 and as a full-time clinical instructor at the University of South Florida during 2016 – 2017. He received an undergraduate degree from West Virginia University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida. His clinical interests focus on patients who have acquired disorders of swallowing, communication, and cognition. His teaching philosophy holds paramount the importance of promoting theoretical and applied learning, clinical problem-solving skills, open communication, and patient-first intervention. Mr. Stockdale regards respect for evidence-based practice, collaborative skills, and a desire for continual learning to be essential qualities of successful speech-language pathologists.
