The Writing Center promotes excellence in writing and the processes associated with writing. It supports the University’s mission to educate current and future healthcare professionals for outcomes-oriented and evidence-based practice.
The Writing Center at Rocky Mountain University offers free one-on-one or group assistance with all types of writing concerns. The Writing Center can help you at any stage of the writing process from brainstorming to final editing of a capstone project, dissertation, or manuscript for publication. We prioritize helping students learn how to create, organize, and revise a paper, but we address more technical issues such as punctuation, grammar, and style. The Writing Center serves the Rocky Mountain University community, including students, faculty, and staff.

Grammarly Premium
Before submitting your assignment to the Writing Center, students are strongly encouraged to run their paper through the Grammarly Premium program (see the Grammarly Premium chicklet on OKTA). Similarly, students are encouraged to use the Writing Center before submitting assignments for grading, especially longer assignments such as capstone, dissertations, and scholarly projects.
