Vice President of Student Affairs

Lori Sisk, M.Ed, is a highly accomplished executive serving as the Vice President of Student Affairs at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU). With her extensive experience and deep commitment to student development and success, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the student experience at the University.

Having joined RMU in 2014, Sisk has held various leadership positions within the student services domain. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education, she possesses a comprehensive understanding of the many challenges faced by students in today’s academic landscape.

As the Vice President of Student Affairs, Sisk is a passionate advocate for student well-being, holistic development, and equitable support. Her unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, diversity, and respect ensures that every RMU student thrives during their educational journey.

Sisk’s portfolio encompasses a wide range of critical areas including Civil Rights (Title IX), academic accommodations for disabilities, student leadership and governance, student engagement, student programming, assessment, university student events, counseling services, health and wellness, and Student Success Webinars. She skillfully manages key offices within RMU’s Student Affairs, including Institutional Equity, Student Services, and Student Success.

An active member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), Sisk is deeply engaged in the advancement of student affairs. She also serves on the National Student Affairs Assessment Leadership (SAAL) Committee, contributing her expertise to national conversations and initiatives.

Recognizing the unique needs of graduate students, Sisk spearheaded the introduction of mental health services through Betterhelp teletherapy at RMU, ensuring equitable access for diverse populations. Continuously aware of the specific needs of RMU students, she has successfully implemented several groundbreaking initiatives including the RMU National Student Food Pantry, Student Health and Wellness Coaching, Student Success Workshops, Alumni Mentorship Program, Ambassador Program, and Student Natural Disaster Outreach. Sisk actively participates in various RMU committees such as the Cabinet, the University Collaboration Committee (UCC), Provost Council, and the University Quality Improvement Committee (UQIC).

Outside of her professional endeavors, Sisk cherishes quality time spent with her husband and two adult daughters. They enjoy activities such as paddle-boarding, long-boarding, golfing, painting, hammocking, and sailing, while also exploring the world through travel.

Sisk holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, showcasing her strong educational foundation.
