“Every person I’ve interacted with here is so kind and giving, and I love the culture here, which is why I also continued to do my PhD here, because I just enjoyed speaking with all the professors, the faculty members, fellow students. It seems like everybody’s kind of on the same level of motivation, and we’re all on like a frequency, if you will. And everybody here is wanting to do something to help a certain demographic, if you will. Mine’s military and first responders, and we have the speech pathology department downstairs. We have athletic trainers and physical therapists, and I like being a part of a community who seeks to serve people who need help.”
