Luma Wood brings over ten years of experience in healthcare support and clinical administration to her role as Administrative Assistant for Externships and Residency in the College of Optometric Medicine. She holds a degree in English and German Literature and is an ABO-certified optician, with a strong background in patient coordination, organization, and communication. Luma previously worked with refugees overseas through academic field programs, an experience that shaped her deep compassion for minorities and underprivileged communities. She is a proud mother of three daughters and enjoys exploring new places with her family, spending time in Utah’s beautiful nature, and acrylic painting in her free time.
