ROCKY MOUNTAIN UNIVERSITY

Referral Program

Be a Rocky Mountain Advocate

About

At Rocky Mountain University (RMU), our students, faculty, employees, and alumni are our best advocates for our graduate-level healthcare degrees and certificates.

Through the Rocky Mountain University Referral Program, we encourage our University community to refer high-caliber prospective students to the school and its programs.

By referring a friend, you can contribute to the success of RMU by helping us fulfill our mission to develop healthcare leaders who can effect change and improve the human condition. The Rocky Mountain University Referral Program is open to all current students, faculty, employees, and alumni of Rocky Mountain University. Whether you know someone wanting to get started in a healthcare career, a healthcare professional looking to advance their career, or an aspiring healthcare professional seeking to explore a new field, we encourage you to tell them about Rocky Mountain University.

Referral Incentive

RMU Alumni/Student/Faculty/Employee (Referrer)
We value your referral and appreciate your advocacy for our master’s, doctorate, and certificate programs. As a token of our appreciation for the referral, RMU will provide you (the referrer) with a special RMU gift. Gifts are given as supplies last.
Referral
If the person you refer applies to one of RMU’s degree or certificate programs, is accepted into the program, and enrolls in the program, the student (referee) will receive a $500 tuition reduction that will be applied to their first semester only (see guidelines below).

  • A current student (or the “referrer”) who refers a prospective student does not receive the $500 tuition reduction; rather, the tuition reduction is given as an incentive to the referee to start the program with RMU.
  • Students who are enrolled but have not yet started classes in their first semester can refer a prospective student but are not eligible to receive the referral incentive gift. (e.g., An incoming enrolled student refers another incoming student, neither is given an incentive). The referrer must have started classes before referring).
  • The RMU Admissions Department must receive the referral form before the referee starts classes. If the referred student is enrolled but has not started classes, and the admissions office receives the form prior to the referee starting classes, the tuition reduction reward will be honored. Referrals are not valid for students who have already begun classes.
  • There is no limit to the number of referrals an alumni, student, faculty, or employee may make. However, each prospective student may only be referred once. Should a student receive multiple referrals, they will receive only one $500 tuition reduction. The referrer will also receive only one thank-you gift.
  • Spouses and children of RMU employees or faculty are eligible to receive the $500 tuition reduction, but the employee/faculty will receive the thank you gift.
  • Only people who are referred to a program or certificate (15 credits or higher) are eligible for the tuition reduction.
