Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) President Cameron K. Martin was named Utah’s Best University Administrator by Utah Best of State for the third consecutive year.
The recognition honors individuals and organizations that demonstrate excellence in their field while making meaningful contributions to the quality of life in Utah. President Martin’s selection reflects his continued leadership in advancing RMU’s mission of improving the human condition through healthcare education and service.
Since becoming president in 2023, President Martin has guided RMU through a period of significant growth and transformation. Under his leadership, the University has expanded academic offerings, including two occupational therapy programs, increased access to healthcare services through the RMU Health Clinics, and launched new initiatives designed to address critical workforce shortages across healthcare professions.
Over the past year, RMU has continued to expand opportunities for students and communities throughout Utah and beyond. New accelerated pathway partnerships* have created more accessible routes into healthcare professions, while clinical outreach programs have increased access to care for underserved populations. The University has also continued to grow its research efforts, helping faculty and students develop evidence-based solutions to healthcare challenges.
President Martin’s leadership philosophy is centered on service and “loving and lifting” those in need. His focus on student success, community impact, and healthcare innovation has helped position RMU as a leader in graduate healthcare education.
