Allyce Jones

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program Director

Dr. Jones received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing from Weber State University, and in Family, Consumer, and Human Development from Utah State University. As a registered nurse, she worked with patients with mental health disorders in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with an emphasis in education from Weber State University. She then earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in the Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialty track at the University of Utah. Dr. Jones completed post-graduate fellowships in Women’s Mental Health and Public and Community Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She maintains a practice specializing in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry.

Dr. Jones is the program director of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She enjoys teaching psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner students and improving their assessment, diagnostic, and comprehensive treatment planning skills.
