Dr. Nwora’s clinical experience centers on school-based treatment and psychosocial disability in children. She has worked extensively with pre-school and school-aged children diagnosed with emotional disturbance, ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, as well as a variety of physical disabilities.
Dr. Nwora has a BS/MS in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Current research pursuits include: the impact of COVID-19 on OT, sensory processing disorders/treatment, new treatment techniques for autism, the relationship between hand dominance and performance, and student perceptions of the school environment.
