Andrew Kyle

OD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Andy Kyle received his optometric training from the Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating in 2018. Before that, he received his bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 2014. During the five years after graduating from Pacific, he worked as an associate doctor in private practice, treating everything from straightforward refractive cases to blunt ocular trauma; his favorite part of clinical care is teaching any patient who is interested in what is going on with their eyes.

Dr. Kyle was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest of Washington State, which instilled in him a love for evergreen forests, a respect for towering mountain peaks, and a tolerance for excessive rain. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing with new gadgets and technology, and escaping into nature to hike or mountain bike as often as possible.
