Dr. Eric Smart is a physician and the Medical Director in the Physician Assistant Program. He is on campus about once per week and is an active member of the PA program. He is a board certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Smart is also the Medical Director of the Sandy City Fire Department, a former medical staff president of Alta View Hospital, and a past President of Utah Emergency Physicians. Dr. Smart graduated from Utah State University and the University of Utah School of Medicine.
