Heather David

PT, EdD, MPT, NCS

Dr. David received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University in 2001, a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida in 2003, and a Doctorate of Education degree from the University of St. Augustine in December 2015. She is an assistant professor with the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. Her clinical emphasis is working with patients affected by neurological, balance, and vestibular disorders. Dr. David is currently working with adults with neurologic diagnoses at the Challenge Center in La Mesa, California and children with clubfoot through the non-profit organization, Clubfoot C.A.R.E.S. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient neurologic, outpatient orthopedic, and brain injury day treatment. She completed competency based training in vestibular rehabilitation and is certified in the Neuro-IFRAH approach to treating adults with hemiparesis. She is a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
