Dr. Janir Rivera Amill has been an occupational therapist for nearly thirty years. She worked as an independent contractor in various fields, including pediatrics, mental health, adults, and geriatrics. Her diverse background has enabled her to hold different leadership, management, academia, and consulting positions. She has served as a director of Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) programs and academic coach. She is an adjunct faculty member in the Post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, and Master of Occupational Therapy Program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Sciences. Her passion for occupational therapy and leadership development has inspired her to engage individuals in developing skills to promote positive change. Dr. Rivera Amill holds a Doctor of Executive Leadership degree from the University of Charleston. Her commitment to developing scholar-practitioners, leaders, and agents of change has led her to continue connecting with others. In her free time, Dr. Rivera Amill enjoys participating in outdoor activities with her family and volunteering in her community.
