J. Nikki Gaylord

Dr. J. Nikki Gaylord is an assistant professor at Murray State University in the Center for Communication Disorders and an adjunct professor at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Dr. Gaylord has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for 25 years. She completed a doctorate of clinical science in speech-language pathology in 2019 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and a doctorate of education in P-20 leadership from Murray State University in 2022. Dr. Gaylord’s current research interests include exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction in athletes, exercise-induced dyspnea, voice disorders, and ethics in speech-language pathology.
