Instructor

Jennifer Orchard embarked on her professional journey while pursuing her undergraduate studies in Political Science at the University of Utah. She found her passion for higher education and medical education while working in the Office of Admissions at the University of Utah School of Medicine. This sparked a trajectory that led her to pursue a master’s degree in Public Administration from the same university. As she neared the completion of her MPA, Jennifer became the Pre-health Advisor at Utah Valley University. Over her six years there, she played a pivotal role in expanding the office, supervising a team of five pre-health professions advisors, and pioneering the first Intermountain Premed and Pre-PA Conference in the Mountain West region. Jennifer’s pursuit of knowledge took her to the University of Tulsa Law School, where she focused on Health Law. During her time there, she completed legal internships at a private hospital and an FQHC in Tulsa, OK, where she revamped HIPAA documents for improved readability. Jennifer joined the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions PA Program as a Clinical Coordinator and faculty member in 2019, later becoming the Assistant Director of Clinical Education. Her teaching interests include HIPAA and Health Care Policy.
