Joshua Stier was born and raised in the Northern Sierra region of Nevada. After high school he attended Southern Utah University to pursue his bachelor’s degree in strategic communications. While attending Southern Utah University, he was heavily involved in student government related departments such as activities, orientation and recruitment. This is where he learned his passion in student affairs. After graduating he worked in a diverse area of higher education from University of Utah, Provo College and now Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, golfing, hiking, watching sports and going to Disneyland with his wife. And is now expecting their first child towards the end of 2023.
