Juanita Allen, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, received all three degrees from the University of Utah. She serves as a family nurse practitioner and practices in an underserved clinic. Her background includes a variety of settings, including a startup for urgent care, research, family practice, and her own business in rural Utah.
Allen has three children, one of which is also in healthcare, working as a neonatologist in Houston. When she isn’t working, Allen is spending time with her six wonderful grandchildren, swimming, biking, skiing (mostly cross country these days), hiking, or gardening.
