Dr. Kevin Ballard is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Neurology/NeuroSurgery, Orthopedics and Sports and Occupational Medicine. He currently practices Orthopedics; Sports and Occupational Medicine at Sanford Clinic in Thief River Falls, MN. Dr. Ballard earned his Post Masters FNP certificate at Arizona State University in 1995. He completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2012.
Dr. Ballard has been active in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as Minnesota State Representative and currently serves on the Board of Directors as Region 5 Director. He is the BoD liaison to the Political Action Committee. Dr. Ballard is also active in MN-NP, MNAPRN Coalition and a member of Sigma Theta Tau (Beta Rho Chapter). He was selected for Induction as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2014.
