Dr. Kristin Domville, PhD, DrOT, MOTR/L, is a seasoned occupational therapy educator, scholar, and clinician with over two decades of experience across academic and healthcare settings. She has served as a Doctoral Capstone Coordinator for the last 6 years, with extensive experience in leading curriculum design, teaching across the capstone courses, mentoring doctoral students in the development of rigorous and impactful OT projects across various practice areas and serving as IRB chair. Dr. Domville holds a PhD in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from Walden University, along with both a Doctor of Occupational Therapy and Master of Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Her academic leadership is complemented by prior roles as an OTA Program Director and department chair, where she oversaw curriculum development and accreditation compliance across multiple programs.
Dr. Domville’s clinical background includes extensive experience in neurorehabilitation, adult rehabilitation, geriatrics, hand therapy, and mental health and adult community-based practice. She has contributed significantly to the profession through numerous publications and presentations, with a focus on occupational performance, neurological rehabilitation, cancer care, and educational strategies in occupational therapy. She is a co-author of a capstone workbook designed to support doctoral students and has presented at both state and national conferences, including the American Occupational Therapy Association Inspire Conference. In addition to her academic and scholarly work, she is actively involved in professional service, including leadership within the Florida Occupational Therapy Association and institutional committees, and is dedicated to advancing the profession through education, research, and mentorship.
