Dr. Lynn Gitlow has been an occupational therapist for 30 years practicing in the areas of mental health, geriatrics and assistive technology. She has also been an occupational therapy educator for over 20 years in both occupational therapy assistant and occupational therapy programs. Dr. Gitlow is certified by RESNA as an assistive technology practitioner and was the Director of a federally funded assistive technology program in the state of Maine. Presently she teaches the course Technology Interventions for Occupational Therapists at Ithaca College along with other courses. She has presented at local, national and international conferences on the topic of AT and has published on the topic as well. Her research focuses on assistive technology for elders and people with cognitive disabilities.
