Mary Jane Rapport

Mary Jane Rapport, PT, DPT, PhD, FAPTA is a Professor in the School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She is the Student Services Coordinator of the Physical Therapy Program with teaching and administrative responsibilities, and she directs the Teaching Scholars Program in the School of Medicine. She is the Director of the Pediatric PT Residency Program and the PT Discipline Director for the LEND program. Dr. Rapport has been an adjunct professor at RMUOHP for 9 years, teaching in the pediatric science track both online and on campus. With over 35 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, primarily working with children and families, and 20 plus years of experience as academic faculty, Dr. Rapport has a long record of clinical and academic contributions. She has extensive teaching experience, a productive record of publications, and has been a frequent speaker and educator of pediatric physical therapists nationally. Dr. Rapport is active in the APTA, primarily in the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy, where she has served in several elected and appointed leadership positions. She received the Lucy Blair Award for service and was selected as a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the APTA. She has served in the APTA House of Delegates and is currently the vice-president of the Colorado Chapter APTA.
