Dr. Charney has practiced occupational therapy for the past 29 years. She received a master’s degree from New York University in 1995 and her doctorate from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2023 with a concentration in leadership. Her capstone project focused on creating an evidence-based business plan for a sustainable solution for patient falls in the skilled nursing setting. Her clinical experience is with the older adult population in the skilled nursing setting. She lives with her husband and therapy dog in New York.
