Michael Miller

Dr. Michael G. Miller is a Professor and Director of the Graduate Athletic Training Program at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI. He has an EdD from West Virginia University and a Ph.D. from Western Michigan University. He holds certifications with distinction in CSCS, NSCA-CPT, and TSACF from the NSCA. In addition, Dr. Miller directs and advises NSCA ERP undergraduate and graduate programs within his department. Dr. Miller authored and co-authored numerous abstracts, manuscripts, texts, text chapters, and speaking engagements throughout the world. In addition, Dr. Miller is a Fellow for the NSCA and Fellow for the NATA and served as a board of director for the NSCA, serving one term as vice president. He recently has been inducted in the Michigan Athletic Trainers’ Society Hall of Fame. Dr. Miller is also serving as a firefighter for his community. In his free time, he is an active triathlete, having competed in over 60 triathlons of varying distances.
