Michael Negrette has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and is a doctoral candidate at Texas Tech University. He has worked in many clinical settings, such as community mental health, Utah State’s Adult Protective Services, and LDS Family Services. For the past 10 years, Negrette has been in full-time private practice.
For the past 20 years, concurrent with clinical experience, Negrette has taught for Texas Tech University, Argosy University, the University of Phoenix, and now Rocky Mountain University. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at dozens of national conferences on topics of the clinical use of communication technology, group therapy process, play therapy, multiculturalism/diversity, postmodernism, and sex therapy.
Negrette is married with six children. They attend a lot of sporting events so the kids can catch as many Salt Lake Bee and Grizzly games as possible.
