Molly Sleigh, OTD, OTR/L, CLT-LANA is Founder and Executive Director of Surviving & Thriving, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting breast cancer thrivership in Colorado. She is an adjunct professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Rocky Mountain University and an occupational therapist at Commonspirit Health Outpatient Rehabilitation in Colorado Springs, CO. She holds national board certification for lymphedema treatment through the Lymphology Association of North America (CLT-LANA). Dr. Sleigh is an expert in cancer rehabilitation, survivorship care, lymphedema, and lipedema management. She has a background in research dissemination to healthcare leaders in the public and private industry and lectures at the state and national levels. Dr. Sleigh led national guidelines for establishing the standard of care for lipedema in the United States as co-author of Standard of Care for Lipedema in the United States (Herbst et al., 2021). She has devoted much of her career to patient advocacy by securing grant funding to develop programming for breast cancer survivors, supporting passage of the Lymphedema Treatment Act, and serving on the Board of Directors for Lighthouse Lymphedema Network. Dr. Sleigh has lectured as an invited speaker at numerous conferences, including the National Lymphedema Network Conference, the University of Illinois Breast Cancer Symposium, Fat Disorders Resource Society, the Lipedema Foundation Scientific Meeting, and the American Vein and Lymphatic Society. She currently serves on the Fat Disorders Resource Society Medical Advisory Board.
