Priscilla M. Danielson, PhD, CCCSLP, ATACP completed her studies for Master in Speech/Language Pathology at Memphis State University and her doctoral studies at Temple University in Educational Psychology, with a specialty in Special Education. Dr. Danielson’s work experience as a speech/language pathologist has included hospital clinical staff, private practice coordination with Otolaryngologists, public school speech/language pathology and Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) specialist, AAC trainer for caregivers, families, and users across the state of Pennsylvania, and administrator of a program at Temple University for college-age adults using AAC who were transitioning to independence and developing communication strategies and tools to support this transition. Dr. Danielson has served as an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor at West Chester University Department of Communication Disorders teaching Articulation and Phonology and Anatomy of Speech and Hearing structures and function. Most recently, Dr. Danielson was an adjunct professor at Temple University teaching undergraduate courses in Assistive Technology and Universal Design for Learning and at University of Delaware teaching graduate courses in Assistive Technology and High Incidence Disabilities. Dr. Danielson has maintained a lengthy private practice focused on language development and disorders in children and adolescents, fluency, and AT/AAC strategies and tools. Dr. Danielson has also provided consultation to public school districts and legal teams in the areas of AT/AAC tools, strategies, and implementation.
