Priscilla M. Danielson, PhD, CSPLP, ATACP, completed her Master’s in Speech/Language Pathology at Memphis State University and her doctoral studies at Temple University in Educational Psychology, specializing in Special Education.
Dr. Danielson’s work experience as a speech-language pathologist has included hospital clinical staff, private practice coordination with Otolaryngologists, public school speech-language pathology and Assistive Technology (AT), and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) specialists. She has also worked as an AAC trainer for caregivers, families, and users across Pennsylvania. As a program administrator at Temple University, she helped college-age adults use AAC transition to independence and develop communication strategies and tools to support this transition.
Dr. Danielson has served as an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor at West Chester University Department of Communication Disorders, teaching Articulation and Phonology and Anatomy of Speech and Hearing Structures and Function. Most recently, Dr. Danielson was an adjunct professor at Temple University, teaching undergraduate courses in Assistive Technology and Universal Design for Learning,g. At the University of Delaware, teaching graduate courses in Assistive Technology and High Incidence Disabilities.
Dr. Danielson has maintained a private practice focused on language development, disorders, fluency, and AT/AAC strategies and tools in children and adolescents. Dr. Danielson has consulted public school districts and legal teams on AT/AAC tools, strategies, and implementation.
