Dr. Dailey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Iowa State University, Master of Arts degree in communication disorders at the University of Northern Iowa. He practiced in schools in Illinois before working in a hospital. He has worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for over 20 years. He earned his Ph.D in speech and hearing science at the University of Iowa in 2009.
He is the Director of the Speech and Swallowing Clinic at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Dailey’s clinical and research interests are in the areas of cleft and craniofacial disorders and pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. He teaches graduate courses in Cleft and Craniofacial Disorders as well as Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Disorders at the University of Iowa Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
