Taylor Hoyt is a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) whose career has been marked by a passion for the profession, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a drive to inspire others in the field. Taylor began her journey in occupational therapy by graduating from Salt Lake Community College in 2012 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Building on this foundation, she pursued higher education at Belmont University, earning a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2017. Driven by a desire to deepen her understanding and impact in the field, Taylor continued her educational journey, graduating from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2023 with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, specializing in Health and Wellness. Her doctoral capstone project exemplifies her innovative approach to OT, as she created and implemented a postpartum health and wellness program addressing a critical need in the community. Throughout her career, Taylor has committed to advocating for the OT profession, serving as a vocal supporter and ambassador. She is known for her enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring, finding joy in sharing her knowledge and experiences with students and colleagues alike. Taylor’s dedication to personal and professional growth reflects her belief in the transformative power of occupational therapy to improve lives and empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential. When not teaching, Taylor can be found traveling, attending concerts (preferably outdoors), and going on adventures with her husband, two boys, and two dogs.
