Taylor Johnson is an assistant professor in the Rocky Mountain University College of Optometric Medicine. Taylor Johnson, PA-C, earned his Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University School of Medicine. He has since accumulated extensive clinical experience working in urgent care, family medicine, inpatient psychiatry,
and clinical diagnostics. As an Assistant Professor, his instructional focus lies in systemic health, clinical medicine, and physical examination. He has clinical experience across a variety of fast-paced medical settings, bringing a strong foundation in primary care and diagnostic reasoning to the program. He is enjoys teaching and bridging the gap between systemic medical health and optometric practice. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, traveling, researching, working on DIY projects, golfing, scuba diving and being outdoors.
