Dr. Linton is the clinical faculty member at the Parkview Clinic in Salt Lake City which serves the underprivileged community in the inner-city area. Prior to joining Rocky Mountain University faculty, he was employed at Clayson Williams Eye Center located inside the McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden Utah. In this position, he worked closely with patients referred by physicians specializing in endocrinology, rheumatology, emergency, and family medicine. He also had the opportunity to work closely with and lecture to family medicine resident doctors positioned at the hospital for their training. Dr. Linton received a B.S. in Human Biology from Brigham Young University – Idaho, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern. Dr. Linton is fluent in Spanish, and has provided humanitarian help to the countries of Chile, Mexico, and Haiti, and looks forward to making additional trips in the future. Dr. Linton is an accomplished pianist, and studied organ performance as part of his minor. He is an avid outdoorsman, and loves spending time with his wife and children and being in the wilderness year-round. Dr. Linton’s teaching responsibilities include Lead Instructor for Principal Clinical Experience as well as serving as a full-time student preceptor.
