Foundation Counseling Scholarship

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions is proud to offer a one-time $1,000 Counseling Scholarship to current students who demonstrate how they will impact their community and believe in the importance of an individual’s ability to change.

Who can apply for the Counseling Scholarship through Rocky Mountain University of
Health Professions?
Any current student enrolled in an academic certificate or degree program of 18 credits or more is eligible to apply. Recipients of the Counseling Support Scholarship must demonstrate they believe in the importance of an individual’s ability to change.

How can I apply for the Counseling Scholarship?
Applications are due by July 15. Applications are submitted through the University’s scholarship application website and reviewed by the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions Scholarship Committee.

Are there admission or grade requirements for the Counseling Scholarship?
Students must be admitted to RMU and registered for a full-time class schedule (3+ credits) to apply (including online or Independent Study courses). Those selected for a scholarship will be required to maintain satisfactory academic progress toward graduation.

What is the application deadline for the Counseling Scholarship?
The application deadline for the Counseling Scholarship is July 15th. The scholarship will be applied toward fall semester tuition.

How will I know if I was selected for the Counseling Scholarship?
Scholarship awardees will be notified within 60 days of the application deadline.

If I have previously received the Counseling Scholarship, will I automatically receive one next year, or do I need to reapply?
Applications must be applied for every year. If you are interested in receiving another scholarship, you need to submit a new application. Scholarships are not automatically renewed.
