Jessica Egbert

Dr. Jessica Egbert is passionate about people, innovation, and effectiveness. For 19 years, she advocated these ideals at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, most recently as the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Engagement.

Dr. Egbert has served in a variety of leadership roles, including the American Council on Education Women’s Network Executive Council, as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Utah Women in Higher Education Network, the Board of Directors of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Utah Valley University Community Advisory Council, the BusinessQ Magazine Editorial Board, the Provo City Economic Development Strategic Plan Steering Committee, the Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon Licensing Board of the Utah Department of Commerce Division of Professional Licensure, and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross – Central and Southern Utah Chapter. In 2020, she also started her first year of service as a member of the Mapleton City Council. 

 Dr. Egbert is the recipient of many industry and community awards for excellence in achievement, leadership, and service. A recognized presenter on strategic planning, communication, influence, career development, and leadership, she has likewise authored numerous related publications. Dr. Egbert holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology, a Master of Education in instructional technology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership. Her dissertation research on non-cognitive factors within hybrid doctoral education was published in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Web-based Learning and Teaching Technologies.
