Jeffrey L. Fisher is the Senior Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain University Foundation and leads fundraising strategies in support of the University’s clinics, research, and student-focused initiatives, including scholarships. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in higher education advancement and nonprofit administration across health and human services, government, and the performing arts.
Fisher has held leadership and consulting roles with the State of Utah, Southern Utah University, the University of Texas at El Paso, and award-winning arts organizations including the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Tuacahn Center for the Arts, and the Hale Center Foundation for the Arts and Education. As a national consultant and revenue maximization expert, he has worked in dozens of states, led research projects and surveys, and helped position nonprofits as economic engines and community assets.
He earned academic, leadership, and athletic scholarships to attend Southern Utah University, where he was a Division I athlete and served in student government. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and child development and is completing a Master of Business Administration from his alma mater.
His accomplishments include leading a statewide certification in case management and medical documentation, contributing and publishing white papers on academic–corporate relations, and participating in capital campaigns that raised hundreds of millions for research facilities, academic programs, and regional theaters.
Outside of work, Fisher enjoys hiking, high-tech gadgets, live music, and community service. He and his wife Kristi have three beloved daughters.
