How long is the program?
The program is 5 to 6 semesters depending on if you choose the thesis option at the end of the program. The master’s thesis is completed over the fifth and sixth semesters of the program.
Do I have to come on campus during the program?
No, this program is completely online. If you choose the thesis option, one on-campus visit is required at the end of the program to defend your thesis.
Can this degree lead to the PhD in Health Sciences?
Yes! This program can bridge into our PhD program.
Is there certification/licensure given at the end of the program?
The Health & Wellness Coaching track prepares students for the National Board Certification Exam to become a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. None of the other tracks lead to certification/licensure.
Is the GRE required?
No, you do not need to take the GRE to apply for our MSHS program.
