Rapid-fire Room Moderators

Dr. Phil Sechtem

PhD, CCC-SLP

Dr. Phil Sechtem joined Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions as an Associate Professor in the MS-SLP program in July 2017. He earned his BA in communication and his MS in speech-language pathology at Fort Hays State University (Hays, Kansas) in 1990 and 1994, respectively. He earned his PhD in communication sciences and disorders at Wichita State University in 2013. His research interests and publications encompass aspects of voice, swallowing, and aphasia. His aim is to advance colleagues and professionals who can competently provide evidence-based, patient-centered care upon graduation. He is honored and blessed to be a faculty member of the MS-SLP program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

Megan Kimberly

DNP, FNP-C, CNM

Megan Kimberly has a long history of passion for teaching which started when she was an RN at the University of Texas where she worked with undergraduates in the skills lab to conduct simulation learning. Since then, Megan has taught as an adjunct instructor at the University of Utah, Westminster College and Rocky Mountain University. Megan holds an assistant professor role at Rocky Mountain University and is a co-director of clinical education in the College of Nursing.
