RMU Housing & Transportation Guide
Residential Housing
Students in residential programs live in local housing that is not owned by RMU. They should look for clean, safe housing close to campus. Students can use the Find My Place website or search online for options in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.

For RMU’s post-professional, non-residential programs, students generally stay at the facilities listed below, but may stay wherever they prefer and are encouraged to price-shop online for better rates. Discounted rates have been arranged at the specific hotels listed below. When making reservations at one of these, be sure to mention you’re a student at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions for the Rocky Mountain University rate. Rates posted below do not include taxes.

RMU is conveniently located within .5 mile from a Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus stop, a mile away from the Provo Central Station for the Frontrunner commuter train. Please find the UTA Frontrunner and bus maps here.

Post-Professional/Limited Residency Travel
- Salt Lake City International Airport (approx. 40-60 minutes from campus)
- Transportation from SLC to Provo: You can take UTA public transportation, rental cars, shuttles, or Uber/Lyft. There is information about your transportation options on the SLC airport website here. On the menu on the left, you can click public transportation to learn about the train and bus system or ground transportation to learn about shuttles and taxis that are available.
- Public Transportation to Provo: You can take the TRAX (light rail system) Green Line from the airport to the North Temple Station, where you can transfer to the FrontRunner to get to the Provo Central Station. Here is the TRAX Green Line schedule and the FrontRunner schedule, as well as a page with maps of the UTA buses and trains by region. You can buy tickets on the platform or pay with the UTA Go Ride mobile app.
- For shuttle service, if you would like to use the Express shuttle, ask for the RMU student discount.
