Clinical Services
Student clinicians provide evaluation and treatment across the disorder areas within the speech-language pathology scope of practice. Every case is directed by a clinical preceptor who holds oversight of the plan of care.
Speech
Articulation, phonology, motor speech disorders, and speech intelligibility.
Language
Comprehension and expression of spoken and written language across the lifespan.
Cognition
Attention, memory, organization, and problem solving as they affect communication.
Feeding and swallowing
Dysphagia evaluation and management, including diet and safety recommendations.
Voice and resonance
Voice quality, vocal function, and resonance disorders.
Fluency
Stuttering and cluttering, including strategies for communication confidence.
Social communication and pragmatics
Pragmatic language and social interaction across everyday contexts.
Augmentative and alternative communication
Evaluation, device selection, and training in AAC systems and supports.
Aural rehabilitation
Communication strategies and rehabilitation for people with hearing loss.
We serve people of all ages, across the full range of communication, cognitive, and swallowing differences and disorders.
