OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) offers $1,000 opportunity scholarships, which are available to offer individuals a greater opportunity to improve their education and, in turn, assist our communities with improved healthcare.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) offers $500 merit scholarships, which are available to enrolled students who demonstrate excellent academic performance and personal behavior, that is of merit, toward healthcare and the community.

TOP SCHOLAR SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) offers a $2,000 scholarship to students who excel in their status as a student. The Top Scholar Scholarship is only available to students who have been nominated by their graduate program director and is awarded once per semester.

SINGLE PARENT SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) offers $1,000 single parent scholarships, which are available to enrolled students who have one (1) or more dependents and show financial need.

MILITARY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) is proud to offer $1,000 scholarships for the advancement of veterans, reservists, and their dependents in higher education.

CORE VALUES SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) offers $1,000 core values scholarships, which are available to any new or existing student that is enrolled and in good academic standing. These scholarships are awarded to students who best demonstrate their personal alignment with the university’s core values.

DEPENDENT CARE FINANCE GRANT

The Dependent Care Finance (DCF) Grant ($1,500) is available to full-time RMU students who are enrolled in one of our quality education programs and have the additional responsibility of supporting dependents.

DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) offers $500 diversity scholarships to first-generation college students, members of an underrepresented population, or students that have overcome personal , social and/or physical obstacles to pursue an education.

ALUMNI STUDENT SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIP

The Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) Alumni Association is proud to offer $500 alumni student support scholarships to current students who demonstrate how they will impact their community and represent RMU as an alumnus/alumna.

Ph.D. IN HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation Board of Directors of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions are pleased to sponsor a scholarship for the benefit of the PhD in Health Science students of the University. Multiple $750 scholarships are available for enrolled PhD students who demonstrate financial need.

FOUNDERS HONOR THE VETERANS SCHOLARSHIP

In honor of Veterans Day 2020, two of the Founders of RMU, Drs. Michael Skurja, Jr., and Richard P. Nielsen, are sponsoring this scholarship. This  was developed for the student/veterans of RMU.   We are proud to associate with veterans and  to honor them for serving our country and communities.

FOUNDATION GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions Foundation (RMU Foundation) Board of Directors is pleased to sponsor scholarships for the benefit of RMU’s students. These $1,000 scholarships are available to enrolled students who demonstrate excellent academic performance.

FOUNDATION OTD SCHOLARSHIP

The Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions Foundation (RMU Foundation) Board of Directors is pleased to sponsor scholarships for the benefit of the RMU’s OTD students. These $500 scholarships are available to enrolled OTD students who demonstrate excellent academic performance.

FOUNDATION DPT SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation Board of Directors of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions are pleased to sponsor a scholarship for the benefit of the DPT students of the University. A $500 scholarship is available for enrolled DPT students who demonstrate excellent academic performance.

FOUNDATION NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

The Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions Foundation (RMU Foundation) Board of Directors is pleased to sponsor scholarships for the benefit of RMUoHP’s nursing students. These $1,000 scholarships are available to enrolled nursing students who demonstrate excellent academic performance.

FOUNDATION COUNSELING SCHOLARSHIP

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions is proud to offer a one-time $1,000 Counseling Scholarship to current students who demonstrate how they will impact their community  and believe in the importance of an individual’s ability to change.

OPTOMETRY SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation Board of Directors of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions are pleased to sponsor a scholarship for the benefit of Optometry students at the University. Multiple scholarship awards are available for newly enrolled Optometry students who demonstrate great academics, community service, and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and/or social justice. 

University Scholarships are awarded through a competitive application and review process.

The majority of the scholarships listed below are available through external sources (unless noted) and have no affiliation with Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU). Please exercise caution when pursuing any outside scholarships. If you are a financial aid recipient, receiving any scholarship will affect your Cost of Attendance (COA). It is your responsibility to notify the Financial Aid Office if you are selected for an award.
Should you be awarded a scholarship from any source (internal or external), please take the time to send the institution/awarder a “Thank You” letter.
